I've been planning to do a series of posts about vacationing on a budget in the next few weeks, since our family of four will embark on our first, real-deal vacation. As in hop on an airplane with two toddlers, fly to San Diego and do every touristy thing possible in one week. Sea World, San Diego Zoo, beaches, Legoland... the works.
And wouldn't you know, Plum District decided to bring back the awesome deal that began it all for us! We knew that our kiddos (3 and just turning 2-years-old) wouldn't get everything out of Disneyland (my husband's logic) and we knew we wanted to get away for the first time as just the four of us (our combined desire). This resort and Legoland deal fit so perfectly for us: sunny destination, a theme park tailored specifically for the younger crowd and lots of fish in tanks (my sons' favorite thing ever). Plus, we knew we were getting a steal on admission and the resort stay.
Of course, this isn't the only daily deal to go into the planning of our trip (shocker!)-more details to come soon. I wish I'd already been to Legoland so I could give you a personal review, but I can say that I've heard only good things about the park from friend's who've visited. I just think you really can't beat a two-day admission for two and a two-nights' resort stay for only $365!
:: If you are new to Plum District, head over here first to create a free account. You'll get a $5 credit just for joining!
::Then, you can find the Legoland deal here!
Now, there are some black-out dates, so be sure to check out the details for all of the specifics. Having booked this deal already, I can recommend that you book early since dates went super-fast, and be sure to book around any days the park is closed (Tuesdays and Wednesdays in September; check the calendar here for specific dates).
