Why Coupon?

Two in diapers, a mortgage and one income.

Your formula may look a little different (add a car payment, subtract the diapers), but the common denominators of debt and life's little necessities remain. By spending less on the toilet paper, toothpaste and tomato soup, you can allocate more toward your debts, whatever they may be. As many couponers before me would agree, financial freedom is the goal.

This couponing thing is easy, and I'll prove it. I wanted a place to document my couponing adventures in 2011 and beyond; hence, this blog. I know there are many, many coupon sites out there. I am a huge fan of several, and I'm way out of their league. My shopping abilities are limited by two "crazies" (an affectionate term I use for my two sons). I try to plan my shopping trips to be as quick and hassle-free as possible, so I am in and out of a store before the gummy snacks run out. If this sounds like your life, "Hi!"

I promise to make this as simple as possible, ok?
