how to score free food at Albertsons

This week it happens to be nuts. Here's how:

  1) Find the "Twice the Value" coupons (aka "Doublers", "Doubles") on the right side of Albertsons' grocery ad for the week of 1/12-1/18. There are three, and they are good until Saturday the 15th.

  You should have received this ad in the mail yesterday, but in case you didn't or threw it away, your local Albertsons should have extras at their Customer Service desk.

  These "Twice the Value" coupons are GOLD, because they will double the value of any manufacturer coupon up to $1! This might seem like chump change, but when you pair these bad boys with coupons AND sale prices, you go home with free food!

  (Note: You will need an Albertsons Preferred Card to use the "Twice the Value" coupons. You can sign up for one at checkout.)


  2) Print this coupon (hit the back button to print twice):

$1.00/1 – Emerald Nuts Product, 5oz or Larger – (bricks.coupons.com)


  3) Emerald Nuts are on sale this week, 2 for $4. I bought two, used both $1 manufacturer coupons and two "Twice the Value" coupons. Free nuts!
