Schoola: Awesome Back-to-School clothing +25% off! #givingstyle

I don't know about you, but I'm a Summer girl. Sunshine, heat, sunshine... and well, you get the picture. Give me all of it! Well. Here in the Pacific Northwest, it's pretty suddenly Fall. I'll take that, too, I guess. If only because 'tis the season to enjoy pumpkin anything.

Also, this: I may no longer be in school, but I vividly remember the thrill of back-to-school clothes shopping with my mom. Arriving at school, for the first day of the new year, all decked out in a fancy, new wardrobe. That was a happy day!

You know what, I'm a big believer in "recycling" clothing. I'd even say the majority of our family's clothing was purchased second-hand. You can tell from these photos of my son, Noah, just how excited he was to open this package of carefully selected clothing from Schoola!

Schoola offered to send Noah a fun set of clothing, just in time for that back-to-school thrill, taking special care to fit his (mom's) "Seattle hipster meets So Cal surfer" (attempted) style. We are both loving just what Schoola sent!

Noah now has a sweet pair of Quiksilver khakis, a sweet graphic tee-shirt and fun "tie" sweater from Old Navy! Though the sweet folks at Schoola sent this to us free-of-charge for our review, the entire outfit would have cost only $21.73! That's such a deal!

One of my favorite things about Schoola, besides their awesome selection of new and gently-used kids' clothing, is that a generous portion of each purchase is donated to schools around the country. From my outfit, $8.69 was donated to help fund art, music and P.E. programs! Isn't that the best?! Not only will you feel pretty swell scoring amazing deals on clothing for your kiddos, you'll also get the joy of knowing that you're helping fund some pretty important school programs!

Join in on the fun over at Schoola, and through October 12th, save an extra 25% off your purchase with promotional code givingstyle!

Save 20% off like-new and gently used children's clothing at Schoola, plus $1 donated to schools for every purchase!

Schoola is hosting a fantastic fundraiser for select schools during the month of August (you can read more about the "20 Days of Schoola" campaign here). For every purchase of new and gently-used kid's clothing at Schoola using this special link for How2Coupon, Schoola will donate $1 to fund Yick Wo Elementary's art program! Better yet, you can use promotional code BacktoSchoola20 to save an extra 20% off your order!

I just made my first purchase at Schoola last week and it arrived yesterday. I found some excellent clothes for my eldest to wear this fall and winter, and he was pretty excited to open his new box of clothes!

I am definitely impressed with the selection of brands I found at Schoola. I was able to pick up sweaters and those sweet green jeans by H&M, a very nice top by Zara and some great basics by The Children's Place, all at totally affordable prices! Schoola is very honest about the clothing they've listed, and let you know the condition of each piece... even stains, discolorations, etc! I felt very confident with my purchase, and I know you will, too.

Don't forget to use promotional code BacktoSchoola20 to save an extra 20% off your purchase at Schoola, valid through August 20th only (limit one use per customer)!

Schoola: Shop gently-used children's clothing online and support schools!

You may remember me posting about Schoola previously, but I'm excited to once again highlight this great company! Schoola is an online shop dedicated to recycling brand-name children's clothes, with 40% of the proceeds going to schools in need. It's a total win-win, and I'm a big fan of buying second-hand clothing (saving money, preventing waste and all that good stuff).

Plus, this month brings the "20 Days of Schoola" Adopt-a-School campaign, which focuses on "adopting" one of three schools who would greatly benefit from additional funds to bring or bolster creative programs. I've chosen to sponsor Yick Wo Elementary, with the goal of raising $25,000 to fund an art program!

Art can be one of the most important parts of a young student’s life. It teaches kids that it’s okay to be creative and take risks at school-not just in the art room, but in math, languages, and every other subject they study. The educational benefits of an art program are well known, but it’s still not covered by most public school budgets. The parents at Yick Wo Elementary make sure that their school’s students have art class anyway, and Schoola is forming a community to help them do it. (You can see more about Yick Wo Elementary here.)

As a mom of three young boys, I can personally attest to the joy art brings to their lives. My 5-year-old can spend hours drawing and creating mini-masterpieces, and he's had a lot of fun learning about famous artists. I'm often amazed at what my children can create!

You can help Yick Wo Elementary reach their fundraising goal in two ways:
  • Shop on Schoola! For every transaction that is tracked via the unique links in this post, Schoola will donate $1 to the school.
  • Request a Schoola donation bag! For every one of my awesome readers who requests a Schoola donation bag through this unique link, Schoola will donate $1 to the school. Even better, when you donate clothing and fill out your school information, $2 of every $5 made will go back to the school you chose to support. Isn't that awesome?!

I'm excited we have the opportunity to support these children, and I can't wait to see how much we can all raise. For all of you who are able to shop and donate through Schoola during this campaign, thank you!

Schoola: Big discounts on pre-owned kid's clothing, plus $15 credit with your first purchase!

If I had to give a rough estimate, I'd say about 80% of my kiddos' clothing consists of consignment purchases or hand-me-downs. I just rarely buy brand-new clothing, because honestly, my boys are magnets for stains, dirt, mud and so on. Who needs the stress of keeping expensive clothing looking it's best? Not this mom!

All that to say, I'm a big fan of pre-loved clothing (for myself, too). I often shop ThredUp, Twice, local consignment stores/sales, and now I've discovered Schoola.

Schoola accepts only great-condition kids' clothing, then offers these items for sale at a big discount to you. Even sweeter, 40% of the proceeds from each sale is gifted to your child's school, to help keep and expand important programs.

You'll find all the name brands you love, including Gymboree, GAP, Justice, Carters, Janie & Jack and more, with sizes for babies all the way up to teenager.

::If you are new to Schoola, head over here to register your email. After you place your first purchase, you'll earn a $15 credit towards a future purchase!

::Shipping is FREE on orders of $50 or more, or just $4.99 for one item (each additional item is $0.99).
