How I scored 9 FREE pounds of butter at Albertsons!

Well, it started with a trip to Albertsons for what I considered a good deal on butter:

  That's when I spotted the 1/2 pound butter on manager's special for only $0.50 and there was a ton of it, almost literally. Since butter freezes well, expiration dates don't phase me. I had quite a few $0.75 coupons to burn, so I was able to bring home 9 FREE pounds of butter. Yes, all free. Naturally, I had to snap a photo with two of my cutest shopping buddies to commemorate the occasion.

Manager's special deals vary by store, but here's how the deal went:

Used the $0.75 off any Everyday Essentials coupon (1/26 RP or you can buy them here; will automatically reduce to $0.50)
Final price: FREE!

  Please know that I am not a hoarder (see freezer comment above) and I'm frequently baking with butter. Nor did I clear the shelves, because there's plenty of butter left for the taking. I don't remember ever making out with FREE butter, so I just wanted to share another instance of sweet couponing success!
