I'm thrilled to say I have all of my Christmas cards completed and ready to mail. It might seem odd to have multiple designs in a single year, but this is the method I've chosen for a few years now to save money. I snag the freebies when I can and take advantage of promo codes when possible... and I end up with a fun selection of Christmas cards on the cheap! I've always disliked deciding on one design anyways, with so many fun options these days.
Here's how I did it:
::20 FREE cards from Walgreens, with FREE in-store pickup
(running total) $0.00 out of pocket
::10 FREE cards from York Photo and paid just $3.74 for shipping
=$3.74
::10 cards from Shutterfly only $4.82 shipped after using a $20 off + free shipping promotional credit
=$8.56
::10 cards from Tiny Prints only $13.39 shipped after email promotional credit and a FREE shipping promo code... *You can save 30% off site-wide through today only at Tiny Prints, plus get FREE shipping on orders of $49+! Both offers can be combined!!*
=$21.95
::40 cards from Zazzle only $14.99 shipped from Groupon after $5/$15 coupon code... *Though the promo code expired, this is still a good deal at $19.99 for 40 card shipped, and it's still available on Groupon!*
Grand total=$36.94
That works out to 90 cards shipped for just $36.94, or just $0.41/card! The cards from Shutterfly, Tiny Prints and Zazzle are all double-sided, so I'm able to include more photos on the back side. I'm pretty happy with all five designs, but I'm especially in love with the cards by Tiny Prints and Zazzle. I would highly recommend those two companies!
