This is a little late, but I hope you all enjoyed a fun and safe Halloween! If you're a parent of little kiddos, chances are you've heard of Shaun the Sheep and Timmy. They are such fun characters! Unfortunately, the farmer (aka Daddy) got stuck in a work meeting and couldn't join us for the photo-op.
The kiddos had a blast Trick-or-Treating our small downtown Main Street, where the businesses, restaraunts and even library all join in. My favorite moment was when we stopped at the used-book store, which always offers a huge collection of children's books for the kiddos to choose from. You've gotta love free books! Finding Wednesday Is Spaghetti Day at the very top of the book bin was the cherry on top of a great day, as it was one of my favorite books growing up. With so many fond memories of reading that book as a kiddo myself, it was a kind of full-circle moment when my youngest was able to add it to our family's book collection.
{The costumes are homemade with lots of love, time, cotton balls from Rite Aid, and felt and Fabri-Tac from Jo-Ann's. Note: Lower your expectations when it comes to toddlers and cotton balls... there was a lot less sheep at the end of the day than when we started!}
