QFC: 86% savings, and a turkey for just $0.35/lb!

QFC has (in my opinion) the best deal on a turkey right now, since you only need to spend $30 before coupons to score a discount and pay only $0.49/lb. I gathered up my coupons, including some free product/high-value coupons I'd been hanging onto, and this is how it went:

(4) Del Monte green beans, 4/$3
Used the $0.50/4 QFC eCoupon here
Final price: $0.62 each!

(5) Pampers wipes, $0.99
Used (5), $0.50/1 coupons (10/28 PG)
Final price: $0.49 each!

...all of these items before coupons were worth well over $30, which allowed me to score a Private Selection turkey for only $0.49/lb! PLUS, I downloaded the $3/$10 in the Meat Department eCoupon, which meant I only paid $7.72 for a 21 lb. turkey, or only $0.35/lb!! Yeah, baby!

I also had a $10/$50 eCoupon loaded to my Loyalty Card (Facebook offer), bringing my grand total to just $8.38, and only $6.88 after the SavingStar rebate. That is how we roll!

The turkey went straight to the freezer, since we will be with family for Thanksgiving. I plan to prepare it the week after we get back and be able to use the meat throughout the week in our meals. Yummy and frugal: my favorite!

I'd love to hear all of your Thanksgiving shopping success stories, so send them in!
