I know that free socks aren't the most exciting thing ever, but they come pretty close. It was a triumphant moment for me when I realized all of the times this year I'd passed on getting some new socks for myself at Costco finally paid off. If you don't have to pay $10 for a bundle of socks, why should you? That's my philosophy, anyways. Here's what I bought in a simple, yet really awesome trip to Rite Aid tonight:
(4) Stride gum, $1 each
Revlon Colorstay Whipped Creme makeup, $11.19 (after my 20% Wellness discount; reg. $13.99)
(2) No Nonsense Naturally Comfortable organic cotton socks, 1 pair, $2.29/$1.14 (on sale B1G1 50% off)
No Nonsense No Show socks, 3-pair, $5.29
No Nonsense Naturally Comfortable torn cuff organic cotton socks, 1 pair, $1.34 (after B1G1 50% off discount)
Used two, B1G1 FREE Stride gum coupon here
and used the $5/1 Revlon coupon (9/9 SS)
and used $8 in +UP Rewards
Paid $10.57 + tax out of pocket and received back (2) $1 +UP Rewards for the gum, a $4 +UP Reward for the Revlon makeup and (2) $5 +UP Rewards for the socks
Final price: FREE, plus a $5.43 moneymaker!
If you break it down individually:
- The gum was completely free,
- The Revlon makeup was only $2.19, and would've been only $0.19 if I'd still had the $2/1 Video Values coupon from August,
- ...and, the socks were $0.06 for all six pairs, or a penny each! (So, practically free!)
I'd love to hear about your shopping successes at Rite Aid, so always feel free to send your scenarios and/or photos my way, and I'll be sure to post them here!
