Trip #1:
(2) Rite Aid Tugaboos wipes refills, 360-count, on sale $8.99 each (rang up at $8.23 each with my 20% Wellness+ discount)As you can see, the Wellness+ discount is really awesome, as it usually overrides the sale price to score me an even better deal! Your items will always ring up at the lowest price possible, whether that's your discount or the sale price. The wipes are a stock-up price for sure ($0.01/wipe), and so is the gum. After coupons and +UP Reward, the Powerade ended up only costing $0.19/bottle!
(4) Powerade, on sale 4/$5 (rang up at $1.19 each with my 20% Wellness+ discount)
(2) Extra gum, 3-pack, on sale $2.99 (rang up at $2.63 each with my 20% Wellness+ discount)
(2) M&M's candies, on sale B1G1 Free (=2/$0.99)
Used two, $1/2 Powerade printable coupons (NLA)
and used $0.50/2 M&M's tearpad coupon (previously seen at Albertsons)
and used $5 in +UP Rewards from previous week
and used a $20 Rite Aid gift card (sent from Rite Aid after poor treatment from a store manager)
Paid nothing out-of-pocket and received back $11 in +UP Rewards!
The kind folks at Rite Aid sent me the $20 gift card after I called in a small complaint about poor treatment from a manager. I don't advocate complaining, but I thought Rite Aid would want to know that their manager wasn't treating a customer well, especially since they are the face of the store. I was shocked to be getting a gift card, but it's a nice gesture.
Trip #2:
Huggies Pull-Ups, on clearance for $6.49 (thinking ahead for when my next son potty trains!)I wanted to take advantage of the potential moneymaker Carex +UP Promotion, where you receive a $10 +UP Reward when you buy one (limit 1). There are lots of items that will ring up at $4.72 (reg. $6.29; 25% off), which makes for a $5.28 moneymaker! As I was looking around, I noticed the Bed Buddy hot/cold pack was included in the promotion, and though it's only a $1.01 moneymaker after +UP Reward, I figured we would get way more use out of it than crutch pads or cane tips. These Carex items would be great to donate to a local Senior Center, though!
Bed Buddy Hot/Cold pack, on sale 25% off regular price (=$8.99)
Used $11 in +UP Rewards from previous transaction
Paid $4.48 out-of-pocket and received back $10 in +UP Rewards!

I also found some good finds yesterday and today. I needed diapers so I went to RA to get their Pampers deal. It wasn't the best (buy 1 jumbo pack for 9.99 and get a 2+up; but when I was there walking around the store, (because I'm always walk around once to see what I can find on clearance), I found a full box of pampers on clearance for 6.49!!! I bought some and they were printing out the 2+up :D I had a 1.50 off coupons and some 2 off coupons and which made them 5 ea. and $3 a pack after the 2+up.
ReplyDeleteI went back today for some more packs just to find the wipes on clearance, (both pampers and huggies) 4. 39 for the 3 refill pack of 180 sensitive packs and 1. 09 the 72 ct. I used a .50 cent coupon which made them .59 a pack for a 72 ct and under $4 for the bigger packs. I was super excited because I have 2 girls who are still in diapers and I can never really find wipes that cheap. I bought 4 packs of 64 ct of huggies wipes for $2 and some change and 3 packs of pampers for 1. 84 or something. I was very happy for my trip. I did spend about $50 or so on wipes and diapers but I bought...
*2 boxes of limited edition pampers and 1 box of pampers cruisers
(reg 21.99 marked down to 10.99)
--used (3) 2.50 coupons (found inside super pack boxes)
*2 packs of pampers sensitive wipes 180 ct.
(reg 8.79 marked down to 4.39)
--used (2) .75 coupons
*4 packs of easy ups jumbo packs
(reg. 12.99 on sale for 9.99 but on clearance for 6.49)
--used (4) 2.00 off coupons I got in the mail
*2 packs of pampers swaddlers sensitive jumbo packs
(reg. 12.99 on sale for 9.99 clearance for 6. 49)
--used (2) 1. 50 coupons from coupons.com
*4 tubs of huggies wipes 64ct
(reg 4.29 on clearance for 1.07)
--used (4) .50 coupons from sunday paper inserts
*3 tubs of pampers wipes 72 ct
(reg 4. 29 clearance 1. 07)
--used (1) $1/2 catalina coupon from RA and one .50 coupon I got in the mail
= total was about $50 including tax! I also had to use my +ups from the diapers when I went back today and I started with 9 dollars in plus ups in addition to the other ones.
If I would've bought all that at RA at reg price w/o coupons, I would've paid about $190 before taxes! I'm sure at Walmart I would've paid around 1.80 w/o coupons and after taxes for all that merchandise.
I was pretty excited because I won't have to buy diapers or wipes for a couple months now! :)
I absolutely love clearance finds!!!
oops, I meant to say $180 not 1.80. My bad!
