QFC: HOT Buy 10, Save $5 promotion, plus my shopping trip!

I was able to shop kid-free last night at QFC and take advantage of their awesome Buy 10, Save $5 promotion! This is probably the biggest purchase I've made in a long time, but when you can get such low prices on pantry staples, you've gotta stock up! Here's what I did:

Transaction #1:

(2) Huggies Slip-Ons diapers, $9.49
Huggies wipes, $2.99
Loaded the $2.00/1 SavingStar e-Coupon here (to my store loyalty card)
Used two, $3.00/1 Huggies Little Movers Slip-On diapers coupon (10/23 SS)
and used one, $1.00/1 Huggies baby wipes coupon (home mailer)
Paid $14.97 (+tax) out of pocket and received a $5 Catalina and $3 Catalina, and $2.00 from SavingStar
Final price: only $1.65 per item after Catalina!!
(...and, after I buy Cars 2 on DVD, I can submit for the $10 mail-in rebate here!)

Now, for the crazy-big haul:

(3) 6-pack Snapple, on manager's special for $0.50 each!!
*ALWAYS check your store's clearance/manager's special section for some amazing bargains!

(7) Organic Cranberry Sauce, on manager's special for $0.10 each (normally $2.00!!)
*They don't expire until late next year, so they were only on discount for some minor dents. For only $0.10, I don't mind!
(40) cans S&W Beans, $0.49 after Buy $10, Save $5 discount
Used 20, $0.50/2 coupon (9/11 RP)
Final price: $0.24 each!
*Ok, I know that 40 cans sounds crazy, but they don't expire until 2014. I bought beans for chili, black beans, garbanzo beans for chocolate chip cookies (a la Jessica Seinfeld), kidney beans, etc. You may also wonder where I got 20 coupons, and no, I do not get 20 papers! I purchase a set of 20 from Ebay last month, because I knew I'd see a good sale before the coupons expired (12/31/11). Stocking up is smart when you know you'll use the product and you're getting it a crazy low price!
(7) Imagine broth, $1.99 after Buy $10, Save $5 discount
Use the $1.00/1 coupon (10/16 SS)
Final price: $0.99!
*Such a good price for organic broth!!
(4) Challenge butter, 1 lb., $2.49 after Buy $10, Save $5 discount
Used the $0.55/1 coupon here and previously available here
Final price: $1.94!

(6) Annie's Homegrown Mac 'n Cheese, $0.69 after Buy $10, Save $5 discount
Use the $0.75/1 coupon here
Final price: FREE!

(3) Honest Tea, $0.75 after Buy $10, Save $5 discount
Used three, $1.00/1 coupons from Recyclebank
Final price: Three for free!

Comforts diapers box, $13.49 after Buy $10, Save $5 discount
Used a $3.00/1 store Catalina coupon and a $1.00/1 e-Coupon
Final price: $9.49!

Muir Glen organic tomato paste, $1.29
Use the $0.75/1 coupon here
Final price: $0.54!

I also used the $8.00 in Catalina coupons from the previous transaction, and a $5/$50 coupon from my Entertainment Book. My final total came to $33.83!

So, everything totaled, I spent a grand total of $48.80 on everything pictured above! That's a crazy good per item price, especially when you consider all of the organic items included! I hope this encourages you to keep couponing, because it really does make a difference in the grocery bill!
