This is so, SO exciting!  I just received an email from Zaycon Foods that there will indeed be nationwide fresh chicken events coming SOON! That means that the opportunity to score fresh, boneless/skinless chicken breasts for only $1.49/lb. is open to just about everyone. 

  Now, these events can sell out super fast because the price is that good. You'll want to head over to Zaycon and create an account now to be ready.   In case you're wondering about the process, it's very easy and very much worth it. You'll purchase your case online and pick it up at the location specified for the event date. Then, you can choose to repackage and freeze the chicken however you like (I place some of the chicken breasts in bags with marinade, so they are ready to thaw and cook when I need them). This is delicious chicken, so even if you don't want an entire case for yourself, consider splitting a case with family, friends or neighbors. My family of two adults and two very-littles went through a case (40 lbs. worth) in about three months.
